hello! i'm interested in bringing in a crau character, but i wanted to check on something first. would it be okay to do a canon update in between the character's previous game and this one? and if so, would they still be able to retain crau powers/abilities, or would the trip home nullify those?

i realize this is a weird question, so to elaborate a bit: kisame gained a few powers in his previous game (one of which is outlined here), and i'd like to keep those! … but i also want to canon update him a bit, lmfao. so i wanted to see if i could do both! if not, no worries — i'm happy to take him straight from his previous game and canon update later.
