The game setting is that of a computer simulation. Let's say a character brings in an AI-assisted device that has its own online avatar. Alternately, let's say the AI-assisted device that has its own online avatar is an appable character and is apped. A good example of the kind of AI-assisted device I am referring to is an Allmate from DMMd, which has a robotic frame and an online avatar featuring a different appearance. Most of these don't have enough personality/background to be appable, but one of them, Ren, does. Would such a device brought into the game setting appear as the physical device it's normally housed in and show its online avatar in virtual cyberspaces WITHIN this setting, i.e. it behaves as it would in its original world? Or would it always be in its avatar form? Or would there be flexibility? idk I don't have any preferences I just would like to have an idea of how something like this would be handled if brought into the game.
