ıllıllı CHARACTER HOUSING ıllıllı In addition to their new network devices and their prized possession, characters will also arrive into the Svelte simulation with a slim, holographic keycard bearing a room number and the name of one of two establishments: either the Proxy Hotel or the Qubit House. Addresses and directions to both these locations can be found through accessing the directory in the device or by asking any of the NPCs. Characters will find that they've been assigned to share rooms with another recent arrival, even though they may be a complete stranger. While nothing restricts a character to staying in this assigned lodging, those who choose to will find that they are safer from random glitches, as if these two locations have been mostly "completed" by the developers and are therefore less prone to being changed (though not immune). Each of the provided rooms follows the same basic layout: two double beds, a separated bathroom (bath/shower divided from the toilet area), a desk and chair, a seating area with a sofa and table, a chest of drawers and a large armoire. All of the rooms have a generous window overlooking the city, though it's impossible to escape the neon theme even indoors, as the units often incorporate it into the lighting and accents. Stylistically, the design leans toward a more minimalistic, slightly industrial vibe. Additionally, characters will occasionally find booleans in their rooms — the rare Svelte currency that's separate from the fictional credits system the city employs, and the ones which seem to have effect on the basic structure of the simulation itself. ıllıllı PROXY HOTEL ıllıllı FIRST FLOOR

WHO LIVES THERE?: Rich Goranski (
EXTRA INFO?: An apartment on the second floor of a building two blocks away from the Hex Diner. Comes with your standard glitching fridge where ingredients mysteriously go missing every time you check it and two bedrooms. There's also a living room which has been repurposed into a music room at the moment. Pictures may be found later!

WHO LIVES THERE?: just Noiz (
EXTRA INFO?: It's a ghost video game store with a loft on the second floor. A fusion of modern and retro, and very very neon. Will edit comment if I make a post for it.
Re: GOT NEW DIGS?
WHO LIVES THERE?: Coda,
EXTRA INFO?: A neon version of something like IKEA, a large housewares and furniture store with little show-rooms set up including bedrooms, kitchens and bathrooms. During the daytime NPCs sometimes walk through. There's a section with stuffed animals including plush versions of the neon jellyfish and nudibranches from a previous TDM. There's also, inexplicably, always meatballs available.

WHO LIVES THERE?: Malcolm Bright (
EXTRA INFO?: Open concept apartment located above the museum with two separate masters suites and probably some contrasting aesthetics, due to its inhabitants.

WHO LIVES THERE?: Carolina (
EXTRA INFO?: an apartment above a small, void-of-NPCs clothing store, the store part of which has been fortified by two heavily paranoid individuals because surprises are terrible.

WHO LIVES THERE?: Silje Storstrand (
EXTRA INFO?: Room 621 of some apartment building in the Core. You know, the one with the couch that's forever glitching and never stays off the ceiling? Also, there will never be anything decorative in there. Ever. Except maybe a unicorn plush or two. Or more.
(PS— Hi modmom, I was going to reply to your comment up there but I wasn't sure if you might need to edit it at some point eventually, so I just didn't? But please let me know if I need to move this over. ♥)
