ıllıllı GAME CALENDAR ıllıllı ıllıllı EVENT SUGGESTIONS & PLAYER PLOTS ıllıllı Event Suggestions & Player Plots If you have an event suggestion, are interested in running a game-wide player plot, or are looking for a plot involving NPC(s) on an ongoing basis, please comment to this post. You don't need to lay out every detail of the plot at this stage — usually 3-4 solid sentences will suffice, just to give an idea of the impact and theme. Please try to give at last a week's notice if the event/plot is time sensitive (for example, if you want it to start/end on a specific day). Most events/plots should have an accompanying OOC post made ideally a few days in advance of the plot starting, especially if there's any kind of signup aspect. Plot Summary: Sudden instances of sensory deprivation for variable durations.
Character(s) Involved: Uhhhh.... caused by someone who could have that sort of widespread effect on a lot of characters?
Outcome: Characters lose one or more senses and need to perform an act in order to restore them one by one. The effect could wear off after a few hours to a few days if the player is concerned about their character not having the motivation or knowledge to fix it, but still wish to play around with it. It could be anything from the basic five senses to sense of pain, morals, fashion, direction, danger, self-worth, self-preservation, loyalty, humor, coordination, reticence, precaution, dignity, muscle tension, equilibrioception, proprioception, and the list goes on! I suggest having it be opt-in and hitting characters at random with no rhyme or reason. That way those who want to play with it can, and those who wish to opt out don't need to jump through hoops to avoid it.
Timing: Runs for maybe a week or so. For timing, wherever you can fit it in!
Resolution: In order to make it less of an Annoyance of the Week thing that will simply pass, perhaps give characters a goal that they can work together in order to bring to a stop. The level of participation can result in somewhat different outcomes and maybe prizes for characters that put in extra effort.
